Oak Landscapes keeps lawns and properties cut, tidy and clear across Camanche, Clinton and the surrounding Clinton County towns. Lawn care, maintenance and cleanups — that is what is on the logo, and that is deliberately all we take on.
We would rather do three things properly
There is a version of this business that bolts on hardscape, irrigation, tree work and design, and does all of it at arm's length through subcontractors. That is not this one. We mow, we keep properties tidy, and we clean them up at both ends of the season. Staying inside that means the schedule holds and the standard holds.
Showing up is most of the job
Ask anyone who has fired a lawn service why, and it is almost never the quality of the cut. It is the week nobody came, the text that went unanswered, and the clippings left across the driveway. A service day that actually means something is worth more than anything clever.
- A fixed day. You get one, and we keep it. If rain moves us, you hear that from us before you notice we are not there.
- Finished, not just cut. Trimmed, edged and blown down every single visit — not when there is time.
- The same crew. People who know the property notice what changed since last week.

What we think about lawns
Eastern Iowa runs a short, hard season. A wet spring where everything takes off at once, a July that can shut a lawn down entirely, and a fall that drops leaves for a month. Cutting the same way all season is how lawns end up thin.
So we raise the deck as the heat comes on, leave clippings to break down where they will, alternate the pattern so the turf is not pushed the same direction every week, and clear leaves in passes rather than one late haul. None of it is complicated. It just has to actually happen.
Where we work
Camanche and Clinton first, then out through the surrounding Clinton County towns — DeWitt, Low Moor, Charlotte, Goose Lake, Grand Mound, Delmar, Wheatland and Princeton — plus the river towns just across in Illinois. If you are outside that, call and we will tell you straight rather than stringing you along.
